      Team moms will:

• Read the Team Playbook
• Opening ceremonies participation 
• help organize the dugout
• team email communications 
• assign scorekeeper and bookkeeper
• coordinate volunteer duties (Grill Duty)
• communicate fundraiser due dates
• verify names & numbers on shirts
• coordinate hat embroidery
• distribute picture information and forms
• coordinate team snack/schedule
• coordinate team party 




Background Checks

Cherokee County requires all organizations administering youth sports programs, who utilize Cherokee County facilities, to conduct criminal background checks for all individuals who work closely with the children. Please check your background check status and ensure that you are up-to-date. If you are unsure, contact our secretary at secretary@macedoniabaseball.org and she can check our system to see when you completed your last. If you are new to MCC, you will need to run a new background check. This pertains to ALL coaches and ALL team moms.

If you already know you will need a background check for this season, please feel free to complete it by following this link.  The cost is $15.50.  You will receive an email of completion.

Practices and Games

Please make every effort to be at all practices and games. Usually the coach will provide team information such as schedule changes, pregame warm up times, etc. Please let the coach know if you will not be able to make it so that you are sure to get any info to send out to the team in email.



Grill Duty

Each team will be assigned a Saturday date and time for grill/concession stand duty. We must have 1 volunteer for each time slot.



Schedules

Schedules often change due to weather, errors, etc. Make sure to check your schedule regularly to avoid missed games.



Rescheduled Games

Games will be updated for reschedules on your individual team pages



Cancellations

Please tell all your families to sign up with Rained Out to be text or e-mailed notifications for rain out cancellations.
